We are pleased to announce that on Monday, November 27, 2023, Dimitrios Zaikis, a member of Intelligent Systems Laboratory, was proclaimed a Doctor of Philosophy and received his Ph.D. Degree. His PhD dissertation titled ‘Improving Language Model Representations for Biomedical Relation Extraction and Low-Resource Languages’ and was carried under the supervision and support of Prof. Ioannis Vlahavas. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Zaikis for his achievement, and we wish him continued success in his future endeavors.
