The subject of this dissertation on “Knowledge discovery from biomedical data” is the study and development of specialized methods and tools for the retrieval and integration of biomedical data and information from different sources, such as scientific articles, which will lead to the discovery of useful knowledge. The aim is to provide researchers in the field of biomedicine with targeted and comprehensive access to the knowledge they need, accelerating their work and allowing them to make the most of the available resources.

This is a scholarship granted to the Ph.D. student Anastasios Nentidis by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (H.F.R.I.) under the framework of the Action: “2nd Announcement of Scholarships H.F.R.I. for Ph.D. Candidates”.
